Juicing For Hair Growth
I am 49 years old and recently started experiencing hair thinning. It scared me and I knew I had to do something about it. I do juice for health and decided to research juicing for hair growth and this is what I found out. The types of vegetables that are good for hair growth are cucumbers, alfalfa sprouts, lettuce and carrots, kale just to name a few.
Starting with Cucumbers. Cucumbers are high in potassium, manganese, silica and sulfur. Silica is important in supporting tissue, ligaments, cartilage, muscles, tendons, and bone in the body. It also supports the healthy function of the hair, skin and nails, as it is rich in potassium.
The silica in cucumber, when combined with carrots, works well in juicing for hair growth. The silica in cucumber juice promotes hair growth and will ad a gloss to your hair! It also improves the condition of your skin and fingernails and promotes healthy bones!
My finger nails have never been strong. When I started juicing these vegetables, my nails have grown like crazy and are as strong as rocks! Thanks to the cucumbers in my juice! One last thing, because cucumbers is largely water based, it is also an excellent hydrating drink for your body.
